ONE Championship has exceeded all expectations this year in featuring some of the greatest matchups the world has ever seen. From Muay Thai all the way down to MMA, ONE CEO and Chairman Chatri Sityodotong, has brought us only the best fights in promotion history.
Before major headlines outside of Asia take place within the next few months, that is, the hotly anticipated fight cards at ONE 168: Denver, and ONE 169: Atlanta, we remember the quality of matches we've witnessed over the last six months, worthy of the Fight of the Year award.
Ruotolo vs. Chen, Superlek vs. Takeru, Rodtang vs. Puric, Tawanchai vs. Nattawut II, and De Ridder vs. Malykhin II, are all finalists for the Fight of the Year award. However, there might be one more that ONE Championship is willing to include - one of public opinion.
On their Instagram page, ONE Championship asked the fans this week:

"It doesn't mean that it can't be done" - Superlek reacts to the magnitude of his Denver world title clash against Muay Thai brit Jonathan Haggerty
As the fan suggested above, some of their top favorite fights included Superlek and Jonathan Haggerty in the line of the fire.
With two of the world's greatest strikers coming together on Sept. 6 at ONE 168: Denver, the fans might have to include Haggerty vs Superlek as their top fight of 2024.
Superlek, who currently reigns as the ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion, moves up a weight class to 145 pounds, to steal Jonathan Haggerty's bantamweight crown.
They are both expected to replicate or even surpass all of their exciting performances in one shot. They will no doubt keep the American fans on the edge of their seats the entire time, as they try to outwit each other with their Muay Thai skills and kickboxing power.
Superlek once commented on his Instagram page about the magnitude of their head-on collision, he said:
"It's not an easy job. But it doesn't mean I can't do it. See you then."
