Jarred Brooks posted:
"If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. 2025 HERE I COME."
Brooks had a bittersweet campaign in 2024 where he went 1-2 in his three matches, but that run never dampened his indomitable spirit heading into 2025.
'The Monkey God' lost the ONE strawweight MMA world title when he was disqualified in his world title defense against Pacio at ONE 166: Qatar in March 2024.
He quickly regained a piece of ONE Championship gold, though, when he submitted Olympic wrestler Gustavo Balart in the first round of their ONE Fight Night 24 headliner for the ONE interim strawweight MMA world title.
Brooks, however, fell short in his flyweight MMA debut when he lost to Reece McLaren via split decision at ONE Fight Night 26.
Nevertheless, Brooks is determined to start his redemption arc in 2025 and he set his sights on his world title unification bout against Pacio as the starting point.
