#1 Kade Ruotolo
Kade Ruotolo has continued to stay at the very top of the submission grappling world in 2024 with multiple wins under the ONE banner on top of his victory at the inaugural Craig Jones Invitational.
However, the ONE lightweight world champion finally added a new string to his bow over the last year after making his long awaited MMA debut.
With back-to-back wins and finishes in the lightweight division, Kade has emerged as one of the most exciting rising contenders in MMA right now.
#2 Superlek
When you talk about the competitors who had the best years in 2024, it's hard to look past Superlek.
Not only did he defend his flyweight kickboxing crown in a fight of the year contender against Takeru Segawa in Japan, he racked up two wins in Muay Thai.
His final performance of the year at ONE 168 was his best to date as he stopped Jonathan Haggerty in the main event to become a two-weight and two-sport world champion.
#3 Superbon
After ending the previous year on a loss, Superbon rebounded in style throughout 2024 with a pair of massive victories in both kickboxing and Muay Thai.
In back-to-back fights, he showed that he is the top contender in both weight classes by beating Marat Grigorian for the interim ONE featherweight kickboxing world championship before stopping Jo Nattawut in Muay Thai.
2025 will be another big year for the elite competitor as he challenges Tawanchai for the Muay Thai world championship in a rematch at ONE 170.
#4 John Lineker
Perhaps the most surprising competitor on this list is the former bantamweight world champion, John Lineker.
No one could have predicted that in 2024, we would see the Muay Thai debut of the Brazilian powerhouse who has achieved great things already.
Lineker has produced back-to-back wins and finishes with some signature devastating knockouts.
He will now go on to face Kulabdam at ONE Fight Night 27 in a highly anticipated clash to kick off 2025 in style.
