Sean Brady collected an important victory over Gilbert Burns in the main event of UFC Vegas 97 and strengthened his claim for advancement in the talent-stacked welterweight division. However, one moment in the fight led to some hilarious reactions from fans.

Brady executed a solid game plan against Burns, landing more clean and effective shots throughout the five-round clash. The American combined patient striking and leveraged his grappling skills to neutralize Burns' offense. In doing so, he controlled the range of the fight and dictated the pace. When the tens and nines were tallied, it was Brady who came out on top with scores of 50-45, 50-45, and 49-46.

There was a moment in the fourth round where Brady and Burns hit each other with low blows that became the talking point of the MMA community.

Brady has now rattled off consecutive victories since suffering the only loss of his career to current champion Belal Muhammad at UFC 280. Burns, meanwhile, is now on a three-fight skid, having previously lost via unanimous decision to Muhammad and via knockout against Jack Della Maddalena.
