Jarred Brooks returns at ONE Fight Night 24 where the former strawweight world MMA champion has a point to prove.
His winning streak to win the title was incredibly impressive as he beat several top contenders before dethroning Joshua Pacio in 2022.
Unfortunately, all of his hard work was undone last time out at ONE 166 where he believes he was unfairly disqualified for spiking Pacio.
Now Brooks is focused on working his way back to his former opponent so that he can reclaim the title in a trilogy fight.

But first, he must return to Lumpinee Stadium where he meets Gustavo Balart in the main event of ONE Fight Night 24.
With the interim strawweight MMA title on the line, it's a clash between two of the division's best wrestling specialists.
In an interview with ONE Championship, Vice President Rich Franklin stated that despite Balart's high-level pedigree, he can't look past Brooks:
"Brooks is a completely different beast. We have seen Brooks just run through some high-caliber wrestlers with his own wrestling."
Jarred Brooks can prove a lot in this fight
Jarred Brooks still believes that he is the best strawweight in the division and it's hard to deny him that even after he lost his world championship.
Beating Gustavo Balart on August 2 takes him one step closer to reclaiming the gold and it'll be no easy task for 'The Monkey God'.
His Cuban opponent is a difficult style match-up for him if he can stop Brooks from using his wrestling thanks to his own high-level grappling.
This main event clash could come down to who has the best game plan and who has the most strings to their bow.
ONE Fight Night 24 will air live in US Primetime, free of charge for Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.
