John Lineker is aware of Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai's "very versatile" and "dangerous" fighting style.
Over the past few months, ONE Championship's Lineker has successfully transitioned from MMA to Muay Thai. Later this week, the Brazilian superstar will face his toughest challenge yet in "The Art of Eight Limbs" during the ONE Fight Night 27 co-main event.
Lineker has been matched up against Kulabdam, a former 2x Lumpinee Stadium Muay Thai world champion. The Thai striker has established an 8-5 promotional record in Muay Thai, including four wins by knockout.
Kulabdam's latest win against Suablack, a third-round knockout in September, furthered his status as a bantamweight Muay Thai contender. Therefore, Lineker plans to defeat Kulabdam at ONE Fight Night 27 and enter the division's title picture.

In the main event, Tang Kai looks to extend his promotional record to 9-0 with a featherweight MMA title defense against Akbar Abdullaev. The 27-year-old challenger holds an undefeated professional MMA record of 11-0, including three wins under the ONE Championship banner.
John Lineker's Muay Thai journey in ONE Championship
In January 2024, John Lineker bravely accepted an openweight MMA bout against Shinya Aoki on a few hours' notice. Lineker suffered a first-round submission loss, leading to his official decision to test his striking skills in Muay Thai.
'Hands of Stone' started with a second-round knockout against Asa Ten Pow in September 2024. A month later, Lineker showcased his world-title potential with another knockout, this time in the first round against Alexey Balyko.
At ONE Fight Night 27, Lineker will face a well-experienced and dangerous Muay Thai fighter in Kulabdam. With a win, the Brazilian superstar would prove he's a legitimate threat to Superlek's bantamweight world title.
