On his return at ONE 170, Johan Ghazali will face his most dangerous opponent to date when he steps inside the ring for the first time in 2025.
2024 was an up-and-down year for 'Jojo' following his breakout run in 2023, where he earned a ONE Championship contract.
The 18-year-old is still learning and improving, and that showed in his first loss against Nguyen Tran Duy Nhat at ONE 167 in June.
He has since rebounded with a first-round knockout over Josue Cruz at ONE 168 in December to get back his confidence.

However, on January 24 at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, there is no time for confidence building.
The battle of the Johan's is set to take place in the flyweight Muay Thai division as the young prodigy Ghazali takes on the surging Johan Estupinan.
Estupinan is undefeated in four fights with the promotion, but in his last two fights against Sean Climaco and Zakaria El Jamari, he has been through some absolute wars.
'Panda Kick' is all offense, and he throws every shot, often from creative angles, to try and take your head off.
In a recent interview with Anything Combat, Ghazali spoke about how he cannot afford to prepare for Estupinan like any other fighter due to his unique style:
"He's a very unorthodox fighter. A different fighter. He doesn't fight like traditional Thais or traditional Muay Thai fighters."

This is a big moment for Johan Ghazali
Johan Ghazali has completely blitzed through many of his opponents, but when Nguyen Tran Duy Nhat was able to survive this, he went on to win the fight.
With Johan Estupinan being another dangerous finisher, this fight could come down to which one is more composed, and we've seen both of them throw caution to the wind in the past.
Either way, it's going to be an incredible fight for the fans, and if Ghazali can get his hand raised, it will be a massive victory for him, given the run that Estupinan is on.
