Former ONE strawweight MMA world champion and current first-ranked divisional contender 'The Monkey God' Jarred Brooks of the United States is one of the most complete MMA fighters on the planet.

His world-class wrestling ability is accentuated by his constantly improving striking skills, and the 31-year-old Mash Fight Team representative has put those skills well on display in the world's largest martial arts organization.

However, Brooks has something special in store for fans in his next fight, as 'The Monkey God' plans to unleash upgraded skills and techniques and a 'new version' of himself.

'The Monkey God' said:

"I think that people are going to see a different version of Jarred Brooks this time around. I know that my capabilities speak louder than my words, so hopefully you guys will see my capabilities in full steam against Gustavo Balart."

Jarred Brooks dedicates next fight to his daughter: "I want her to see me in a shining light"

'The Monkey God' Jarred Brooks is even more dangerous now that he's fighting for someone greater than himself.

A new father to a beautiful baby daughter, Brooks dedicated his upcoming world title fight at ONE Fight Night 24 on Prime Video to his daughter Naomi.

'The Monkey God' said in a recent interview with South China Morning Post:

"I looked up at Tito Ortiz, and I was not afraid to put the chips on the table. But at the same time, my daughter means more than anything to me, and I want her to see me in a shining light and be like, oh, okay, so you went from the dark knight to the white knight and that's what I want to be."
