For his long-awaited return to action this week, double ONE world champion Christian Lee found himself doing cross-training at Kill Cliff FC in Florida. It was a move that proved to be worthwhile as he was able to shore up his arsenal.

He spoke about it in an interview with ONE Championship, sharing how Kill Cliff provided a conducive atmosphere to further work on his game, especially coming off a long layoff.

'The Warrior' said:

"In Kill Cliff, we found a great training environment so that's why I'm thinking about revisiting it. Anytime you step out to a new gym, especially at a high level, you never know what to expect."

Christian Lee returns to competition after two years at ONE Fight Night 26 on Dec. 6 at the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. He will be defending his lightweight MMA belt against undefeated Turkish challenger Alibeg Rasulov.

The match is his first since November 2022, where he claimed the vacant welterweight MMA world title to become a double champion. After the win, he went on a self-imposed break to mourn the untimely passing of younger sister and fellow ONE fighter Victoria Lee in December that year.

The Lee-Rasulov title fight is the headlining contest at ONE Fight Night 26, which will be aired live and for free in U.S. primetime to North American fans with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.

Christian Lee says he has prepared well for title defense at ONE Fight Night 26

Christian Lee says he is more than ready to touch gloves with Alibeg Rasulov in their title clash at ONE Fight Night 26 on Dec. 6 in Thailand after an extended camp where he had one of his toughest trainings.

Initially penciled in to compete in November in the United States, he saw his showdown with Rasulov moved to a month later, something he did not mind as it allowed him to put in added work on his game for fight night.

He shared what his training been like in an interview with the Bangkok Post, saying:

"I wouldn't say I'm frustrated, but I'm definitely itching to get back into that ring and to fight again. I've had a long camp. It was originally nine weeks and then got pushed back an extra four after the Atlanta card got changed.
"So for me, 13 week camp, I've been training the hardest that I've ever trained in my career, and at this point, I'm ready to get into that ring and show everyone what I've been training so hard for all this time."

At ONE Fight Night 26, Christian Lee will be defending the lightweight MMA belt he reclaimed in August 2022.
