Reigning ONE lightweight and welterweight MMA world champion 'The Warrior' Christian Lee of the United States is one of the most talented mixed martial artists in the world today.
A ruler of two MMA divisions, Lee has proven himself to be a formidable pound-for-pound competitor.
But at just 26 years of age, Lee is still very young and early in his career. That being said, he has a wealth of knowledge and experience far beyond his years.
Speaking to Val Dewar on the DeWar Report, Lee identified one major turning point in his career that taught him the greatest lesson.

'The Warrior' said:
"One mistake that I made early in my career is that I fought for the featherweight title after coming off a fight where I broke my thumb. I broke my hand, and I was training in the camp right after I broke my hand. And I was training for the whole fight camp, leading up to my first title fight, with a cast on my hand. I do feel it affected my performance. I wasn’t able to fight the fight that I wanted that night. But it was a learning lesson. A learning experience. Just little moments like that, I know Adrian doesn't have to worry about that in his career."
Lee fought Australia's 'The Situ-Asian' Martin Nguyen for the ONE featherweight MMA world title at ONE: Unstoppable Dreams in May of 2018, losing via a five-round split decision.
Christian Lee says his priorities have changed since becoming a father: "Fun is playing with my kids"
Two-division MMA king 'The Warrior' Christian Lee says that ever since he became a father, his priorities in life have changed.
Once just focused on becoming the best fighter there is, Lee now balances the life of fighting in the cage and changing diapers.
He told Dewar:
"For me, fun is playing with my kids. Being at home. Being able to see them have fun. Being able to interact with them. That’s what I enjoy doing."
