Just when you think Regian Eersel can’t impress you anymore, he comes out with another vicious and memorable knockout.
At ONE Friday Fights 9, the defending ONE lightweight Muay Thai world champion collided against Thailand’s fastest-rising star Sinsamut Klinmee in a thrilling back-and-forth rematch.
Like their first fight, Sinsamut flew into the foray as the immediate aggressor. He found some early success with his leg kicks and pressure-forward fighting style, while Regian Eersel bided his time with head strikes and jabs.
Down on the scorecards, the Surinamese striker turned things around mid-fight when he began targeting the body with big hooks and long-range kicks. Eventually, they paid dividends. Sinsamut had grown tired and weary by the fourth round, and that’s where Eersel began to make the first move.

He delivered a crushing body kick before following it up with a beautiful right hook to the liver. Sinsamut folded upon impact, but Eersel threw in another right knee for good measure. Before Eersel returns to the ring on June 9th, check out his most recent knockout against Sinsamut Klinmee below:
‘The Immortal’ Regian Eersel continues his long and dominant reign with both the ONE lightweight kickboxing and Muay Thai world titles. However, his next challenger is no picnic. 25-year-old Dmitry Menshikov from Russia is ready to turn his dreams into reality when he becomes the first man to stop Eersel’s 9-fight winning streak in ONE Championship.
Their epic showdown takes place on June 9th at ONE Fight Night 11 on Prime Video, which will be aired live from the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok via Amazon Prime Video.
