Johan Ghazali knew he would eventually cross paths with fellow knockout artist Johan Estupinan. Returning to the iconic Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand on Friday, Jan. 24, ONE Championship will deliver another loaded fight card headlined by three massive world title tilts.

But first, fight fans will be treated to a true battle of up-and-coming prospects when Johan Ghazali and Johan Estupinan square off on martial arts' biggest global stage at ONE 170.

Speaking with ONE Championship, Ghazali spoke about his impending encounter with 'Panda Kick,' suggesting that their respective hype trains were destined to collide at some point inside the Circle.

"Honestly I was expecting to fight him next because we’re both up and coming and have a lot of hype behind us so it would only make sense to make us fight," Ghazali said.

It will be a first-ever meeting between the two budding superstars — a meeting that could set one of them on the path to the title.

Johan Ghazali and Johan Estupinan have been dominating competition in ONE Championship

Johan Ghazali goes into ONE 170 with an impressive 6-1 record under the ONE banner. 'Jojo' got his ONE run started with five wins in a row, including highlight-reel knockouts against Padetsuk Fairtex, Tai Sor Jor Piek Uthai, Temirlan Bekmurzaev, and Edgar Tabares.

Sadly, Ghazali's streak was snapped at the hands of Vietnamese standout Nguyen Tran Duy Nhat at ONE 167 in June.

Undeterred, Ghazali chose to look at it as a learning experience. That mindset served him well as he promptly returned to the win column with a first-round KO against Josue Cruz at ONE 168: Denver.

Meanwhile, Johan Estupinan has built an impressive 26-0 record, including four wins under the ONE banner. 'Panda Kick' has landed KOs against Kouta Omori, Sean Climaco, and Zakaria El Jamari since making his promotional debut in May 2024.

He's also added a unanimous decision W over Zafer Sayik.

Will Estupinan keep his 'O' intact and make it five straight inside the Circle, or will Johan Ghazali hand the Colombian his first career loss?
