Before becoming the MMA superstar that he is today, Christian Lee was once a young phenom who simply wanted to live up to the family name. Now, his younger brother and fellow ONE Championship athlete Adrian Lee is traversing the same path.

'The Phenom' is the promotion's hottest prospect following his impressive 2-0 start in the lightweight MMA division.

In an interview with ONE, Christian Lee admitted that seeing Adrian flourish reminded him of the time when he was just starting in the world's largest martial arts organization.

"Coaching my brother who's coming up, really from the beginning, and now he's got two fights under his belt. But a lot of it was just new for him, so being able to bring myself all the way back to when I was 17, making my pro debut, giving him advice on what I would do when I was younger and the position that he's in now."

Moreover, 'The Warrior' also shared about embracing a mentorship role with Adrian, as he focused on teaching him during his two-year MMA hiatus. He added:

"Instead of thinking about my position now and defending my belt and thinking about all the techniques that I would do. I'm able to step out and think about what would suit Adrian best, what skills, and what techniques would improve his game the most."

Christian Lee itching to resume storied career

After making sure Adrian is in the best shape he can be, it's Christian Lee's turn to remind us all that he's still one of the best in the world.

The lightweight and welterweight MMA world champion will put his 170-pound MMA belt on the line against the unbeaten Alibeg Rasulov in the main event of ONE Fight Night 26.

Speaking to ONE ahead of his long-awaited return, the double champ thanked fans for their patience and vowed to put on an amazing performance:

"I'm looking forward to going out there and putting on a show for you guys. You guys can expect to see a quick, clean finish and if not, I guarantee it's going to be a war."

Prime Video subscribers in North America can watch ONE Fight Night 26 free live as it happens in US Primetime on Dec. 6 from Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
