Muay Thai superstar 'The Angel Warrior' Panpayak Jitmuangnon of Thailand is getting back in the mix in the world's largest martial arts organization.
After taking a two-year break following his decision loss to two-division, two-sport world champion 'The Kicking Machine' Superlek Kiatmoo9 in December 2022, Panpayak is now raring to rejoin the fold in ONE Championship.
And he's coming back to a much different competitive landscape.

Today, Superlek is the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai and flyweight kickboxing world champion. Liam Harrison has retired. Young guns like Nabil Anane and Johan Ghazali have burst onto the scene. Needless to say, the difficulty has tripled with the amount of legitimate threats on the horizon.

This has also created a number of intriguing matchups between the proponents.
One such matchup that Panpayak is interested in seeing is between Superlek and Scotish star 'The King Of The North' Nico Carrillo.
In a recent interview with South China Morning Post, Panpayak shared what he thinks of that fight.
'The Angel Warrior' said:
"I think it’s going to be a fun fight to watch. Nico has the size advantage, he’s a big guy for that division. Superlek has the experience. I think it’s going to be a really nice fight. It’s going to be a really close fight for them. It’s going to be a nice fight to watch."
As for who he thinks would win? Panpayak revealed:
"Superlek."
