Christian Lee recently broke down how "very smart fighter" Alibeg Rasulov defeated Ok Rae Yoon. On July 5, Rasulov made his ONE Championship debut against former lightweight MMA world champion Rae Yoon.
The undefeated Turkish fighter had a rough start due to missing weight, making him ineligible for the interim title on the line.
Rasulov overcame the adversity and focused on defeating Ok in the ONE Fight Night 23 main event. The 32-year-old utilized his strength and grappling skills to counter Ok's dangerous striking, leading to a unanimous decision win.
Rasulov's debut win led to an undisputed lightweight title shot against Christian Lee at Friday's ONE Fight Night 26. During an interview with ONE, Lee had this to say about Rasulov's performance against Ok:

"I think if he had just continued to dive for his legs and try to take him down, Ok would have had a much better fight. But because he chose to hold him up against the ring in the corner of the ring ropes, it made it hard for him to move. And he never knew when the takedown was coming with the strikes. And he chose to just stay there and grind out the win. So, a very smart fighter."
ONE Fight Night 26 goes down inside the iconic combat sports venue of Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. Amazon Prime Video subscribers in North America can watch ONE Fight Night 26 live and for free.
Christian Lee looks to expose Alibeg Rasulov at ONE Fight Night 26
Alibeg Rasulov has an undefeated professional MMA record of 14-0 following his win against Ok Rae Yoo. Despite his impressive debut, Rasulov has plenty more to prove compared to Christian Lee's legendary promotional resume.
At ONE Fight Night 26, Lee plans to prove Rasulov isn't the best lightweight MMA fighter in the division. 'The Warrior' could also potentially expose his opponent's striking skills if he's able to avoid the grappling attack.
On the contrary, Rasulov has a chance to quickly establish himself as a pound-for-pound MMA fighter in ONE Championship. A dominant win against Lee would show the division he could become a long-standing world champion.
