"A test of fire for me" - John Lineker believes Kulabdam will be his toughest fight yet in perfect Muay Thai run

John Lineker has never been the kind of competitor that backs down from a challenge.

The Brazilian is a veteran of the bantamweight division and during his incredibly succesful MMA career, he has faced the toughest tests that are out there for him.

In recent times, Lineker has undertaken a new task by venturing into Muay Thai, which has proven to be a great move for him.

The former ONE bantamweight MMA world champion has recorded consecutive wins and finishes over Asa Ten Pow and Alexey Balyko to announce his arrival in the division but at ONE Fight Night 27, he faces a true test.

On Jan. 10 at Lumpinee Stadium, he will collide with Kulabdam in by far his biggest matchup to date.

'Left Meteorite' isn't going to be intimidated by the power that John Lineker brings to the table because he also knows a thing or two about closing the show early.

Having faced many of the top contenders in the bantamweight division, the Thai competitor will be ready to go toe-to-toe with 'Hands of Stone'.

Lineker acknowledged that in a recent interview with ONE Championship where he spoke about the dangers of this fight that goes down in Bangkok, Thailand:

"It will be a test of fire for me, but I like to challenge myself, I like to test my potential."

John Lineker has been a fan favorite for such a long time in his career because of one thing.

You always know what to expect from the Brazilian, who does not change his approach for any opponent or any challenge.

He comes forward with relentless pressure and huge power punches which thus far, have proven to be difficult for Muay Thai specialists to deal with.
