Speaking to Sports Illustrated in a recent interview, the young prodigy has a short message for all the fans regarding his brother's return to ONE Championship arena.
He said:
“I’m so excited for my brother to make his comeback. I think a lot of people have been overlooking him just because he’s been out, but I’m really excited for him to shock the world…"
The last time Christian fought, he made history as an undisputed two-division world champion in November 2022 by overcoming the former divisional ruler Kiamrian Abbasov.
Adrian Lee focused on his brother's comeback fight at ONE 169
The young lightweight MMA prospect Adrian Lee wants to repay his older brother by focusing on his preparation ahead of his much-awaited comeback.
As Christian Lee prepares for his ONE lightweight MMA world title defense against Alibeg Rasulov, Adrian will be by his side to assist him anyway he can after marking another spectacular finish earlier this month at ONE 168: Denver.
The 18-year-old credits his family, team, and especially Christian, for providing him with the drive and motivation to fulfill his dream.
Now, he's ready to return the favor, like he said in the ONE 168 In-Circle interview:
"Well, right now, I'm focusing on my brother, Christian Lee, preparing for his title defense in Georgia. So, you know, after that, then I'll start thinking about more fights."
Indeed, with more than a two-year layoff, Christian will need all the help available, especially from Adrian Lee, to ensure his lightweight gold stays with him.
