Adrian Lee wants a quick night in the office when he squares off against Nico Cornejo at ONE 168: Denver on September 6.

The Prodigy Training Center athlete returns to the global stage of martial arts in a lightweight MMA tie against the hometown favorite, and he believes he has all the necessary tools in place to bag another highlight-reel finish inside Ball Arena.

In a recent interview with 4oz to Freedom, the Hawaii-based talent admitted that his main goal heading into his sophomore outing is to secure a much more impressive win than he did in his debut.

Adrian Lee shared:

"I go into every one of my fights expecting a first-round finish. So, this fight is no different. I'm expecting a first-round finish."

Lee turned pro and made his promotional debut at ONE 167 this past June. The 18-year-old phenom barely broke a sweat against Australian standout Antonio Mammarella on his way to a crushing rear-naked choke victory.

Despite getting things off to an impressive start, Lee admits he was far from pleased with his promotional bow.

Christian Lee says younger bro Adrian Lee has leveled up heading into ONE 168

Two-division MMA world champion Christian Lee doesn't see any reason as to why his brother Adrian Lee should be dissapointed by his debut outing earlier this year.

If anything, the welterweight and lightweight king believes his younger sibling will have a template to succeed and grow into one of the very best on the global stage.

'The Warrior' told ONE Championship:

"You know, from his last fight to this fight, I've seen him grow and develop a lot, just from having the experience of being in there and then getting his first win. It's really helped him to level up."

North American fans with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription can catch Lee vs. Cornejo and the entire ONE 168 card live in U.S. primetime for free this Friday, Sept. 6.
