Adriano Moraes is ready to get back to work when he makes his long-awaited return at ONE 169 next month.
The former ONE flyweight MMA world champion has been out of action for over a year but bouncing back has been on his mind for some time.
It was at ONE Fight Night 10 last year where ONE fans last saw Moraes compete inside the Circle at one of the biggest events in the history of the promotion.
For ONE's US debut in Broomfield, Colorado, Adriano Moraes headlined the card in his trilogy fight against Demetrious Johnson for the flyweight title.

He didn't come away with the win on that night but he was still able to take a lot from that experience after sharing the cage with a legend like "Mighty Mouse" for the third time.
In a recent interview with Party Starter Radio, he spoke about putting the past behind him and coming back stronger after what happened last time out:
"With this fight, we had the opportunity to bring ONE Championship to the United States, so we made this big event in Colorado. It was May 5th last year. The fight was back and forth, crazy, but unfortunately, I lost by points.
"It was a really close fight, but I was fighting against the hometown guy, one of the greatest of all time. I lost by unanimous decision, but I always stand up. I always keep my head up and I'm always waiting for my next opportunity."

Now is the right time for Adriano Moraes
Given his history and success in the promotion, Adriano Moraes has always been an integral part of the flyweight division.
With his former foe Johnson now retired, leaving the belt vacant in his absence, the Brazilian has got his eyes on the flyweight gold.
He will now look to bounce back by earning a second win over Danny Kingad when they meet in a flyweight MMA tie at the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on November 8.
Earning a bounce back win here at ONE 169 will surely see him get back into the title picture.
