Adriano Moraes may find himself being motivated by different factors at this stage in his career but that hasn't taken away his drive. The Brazilian is still focused on being the best version of himself possible for his upcoming return to action at ONE 169.

On Nov. 8, he will face off with fellow flyweight veteran and No. 3-ranked contender, Danny Kingad.

Moraes has already spoken about how leaving a legacy behind that his daughter can be proud of is what pushes him to continue competing. Whether it's his family or the flyweight world championship, it's clear that his source of motivation is working ahead of this fight.

In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, Adriano Moraes spoke about his training camp in Florida and how it has been preparing him for this next outing:

"I'm training hard here at American Top Team, I'm doing a really great camp with my teammates and all the coaches at American Top Team. I think everybody is helping me to be prepared for this action. And I will be ready, 100 percent ready for Danny Kingad."

Adriano Moraes is out to make a statement at flyweight

Adriano Moraes has the chance to remind the flyweight division who the best in the weight class is on his return at ONE 169.

'Mikinho' lost his world championship to Demetrious Johnson who after completing his trilogy with Moraes, announced his retirement and vacated the belt.

Though many flyweight contenders will see this as an opportunity to push their way to the forefront, Moraes is still right at the top of the pack.

By beating Danny Kingad for the second time on Nov. 8, the former world champion can prove that he's still the best following Johnson's departure.

He appears to be fired up and ready to go ahead of this big return fight at flyweight.
