First-ranked ONE Championship flyweight MMA contender and former longtime divisional king 'Mikinho' Adriano Moraes of Brazil knows that in the fight game, nothing is certain.
Especially in mixed martial arts, where fights can end in a manner of ways and at any given moment, Moraes understands that things happen in the cage that you don't expect.
He told Party Starter Radio in a recent interview:
"That’s why MMA is a sport that has increased [in popularity] all over the world. Everybody loves to watch since it’s always 50/50. You can’t be like ‘I know this guy is going to win by knockout because I know he’s much better since he always fights forward.'"

"But that day he wakes up in a very bad mood, we’ll never know. And the other guy who everyone thought was going to lose is going to win the fight because that day, he felt really good," he added.
Needless to say, Moraes will be looking for victory when he goes up against his next opponent, a familiar face and a top five athlete.
