10 years removed from his first ONE world championship victory, the Brazilian superstar is still competing at the top of his game. He is now looking to add to his already illustrious legacy on Friday, Nov. 8 when he returns to martial arts' biggest stage for a high-stakes scrap with fellow top-five-ranked contender Danny Kingad.

Moraes and Kingad will meet for the second time at ONE 169 inside the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok—an event that will see four massive ONE world title tilts.

Speaking with Nick Atkins ahead of his highly anticipated return to action, 'Mikinho' offered some insight into his success over the years and how visualization has played a big role in the journey.

"I visualize the knockout, I visualize how the fight is going to go, how fight week is going to be," Moraes said. "You can adjust everything from that. Everything that you don’t want to receive, everything you want to retain for your life to achieve your goal."

Adriano Moraes could once again compete for the ONE flyweight MMA world championship

The last time Adriano Moraes competed inside the Circle was on May 5, 2023, when ONE Championship made its critically acclaimed debut in the United States.

ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video saw 'Mikinho' complete his trilogy against P4P great Demetrious Johnson. With the series tied at one highlight-reel knockout apiece, the two delivered an entertaining five-round war that ultimately saw 'Mighty Mouse' walk away with the win and the ONE flyweight MMA world championship.

Since then, Johnson has retired from mixed martial arts, vacating his 26 pounds of ONE Championship gold in the process.

As the top-ranked contender in the division, a win over Danny Kingad could put Moraes in line to challenge for the vacated crown.

Fans in the United States and Canada can watch ONE 169 live on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, Nov. 8 in U.S. primetime.
