Adriano Moraes is gearing up for the biggest fight of his storied career at ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video.
Headlining ONE’s first-ever event in the United States, Moraes will face all-time great Demetrious Johnson for a third time in a bid to claim back his flyweight world championship and get some revenge at the same time.
Having spent a lot of time inside the circle with ‘Mighty Mouse’, Moraes knows what it will take to beat him and that if he has any chance, he needs to be on top of his game.
Another aspect of this fight with it being in the United States is that Demetrious Johnson will likely have the support of the fans inside the 1stBank Center in Broomfield, Colorado.

“I remember it like it was yesterday” - Adriano Moraes shares one of his favorite ONE Championship moments
In his 10th year competing under the ONE Championship banner, Adriano Moraes could be set for the biggest year of his career to date.
Kicking off 2023 by competing in a world championship contest inside the circle for the 12th time, ‘Mikinho’ has established himself as a key member of the roster during his time with ONE Championship.
With a win at ONE Fight Night 10 against flyweight world champion Demetrious Johnson, he was able to produce his crowning achievement to really celebrate his 10th year with the promotion.
Not only would Adriano Moraes win back his flyweight world championship, but he would also become the first-ever fighter to defeat the legendary Demetrious Johnson twice. In the same interview, Moraes reflected on his time in ONE:
“I have a lot of good memories. Because it’s a long journey, a lot of really good memories, a lot of really good moments inside the ONE Circle and off-site too.”
ONE Championship’s family dynamic has been a big reason why fighters are drawn to the promotion and stay there. Adriano Moraes drew from one particular memory where he really felt connected to his fellow fighters:
“Our first ONE athlete retreat was amazing in Boracay. I remember it like it was yesterday. We traveled to Boracay. It was an amazing trip with the whole team. I made a lot of friends that I still have today. That’s one of the best memories that I had. And the fights, the guys that are supposed to be your enemies become your friends. It’s funny how the times go and the real heroes stay. I appreciate it.”
