Russian fighter Alaverdi Ramazanov is eager to get a shot at double ONE world champion Jonathan Haggerty and believes he will have his way if ever they get to touch gloves.
The 'Babyface Killer' highlighted this in an interview with ONE Championship, ahead of his scheduled return to action on June 28 at ONE Friday Fights 68 in Thailand.
The 29-year-old Ramazanov is coming off a six-month ban after he surprisingly confronted and challenged Haggerty back in September inside the ring. That was following 'The General' winning the vacant bantamweight kickboxing gold against Fabricio Andrade.

"Of course, Haggerty is a very famous and very technical fighter. Many people know him. He is very famous in England and Thailand. And when you are sure that you can easily beat this guy, then you rightfully start demanding this fight."
Alaverdi Ramazanov was the inaugural ONE bantamweight kickboxing world champion, defeating Zhang Chenglong of China by unanimous decision in their title clash at ONE: Mark of Greatness in December 2019.
It is a situation he wants to revisit with a showdown and win over Haggerty.
Alaverdi Ramazanov clashes with Petchtanong in battle of former champions
Before facing Jonathan Haggerty, Alaverdi Ramazanov will first focus on his scheduled showdown against Petchtanong Petchfergus at ONE Friday Fights 68 on June 28 in Thailand.
The two former bantamweight kickboxing world champions, who are both coming off extended layoffs for varying reasons, are featured in the event happening at Bangkok's famed Lumpinee Boxing Stadium.
They are gunning for a huge win on fight night that would set them back on track for a shot at the world title currently held by Jonathan Haggerty of the United Kingdom.
Alaverdi Ramazanov was last in action in September 2023, knocking out Italian Alessandro Sara. Later that month, he was slapped a six-month ban for storming the ring and confronting and challenging Haggerty after he claimed the vacant bantamweight kickboxing belt.
For his part. Petchtanong has not seen action seen seizing the bantamweight kickboxing gold from former divisional king Hiroki Akimoto of Japan in November 2022. However, he saw his title stripped from him even before he got to defend it after testing positive for a banned substance in an off-competition testing.
