Nong-O Gaiyanghadao has something that Alaverdi Ramazanov wants, the ONE Championship bantamweight Muay Thai world title.
The Dagestani striker believes he has the tools to take down the ever-mighty Nong-O, who has won each of his nine bouts inside the circle. Ramazanov enters the bout having earned victories in his last two matches.
In the lead-up to their meeting at ONE Friday Fights 1, 'Babyface Killer' reaffirmed the fact that he badly wants what Nong-O has, stating:
"I don't care about that. He has what I want to win - the belt, and I'll do anything to get it. It doesn't matter where we fight - in Thailand at his home turf, or in my backyard. None of that matters. Taking his belt away and bringing it home will definitely make me very happy."

Alaverdi Ramazanov concluded, adding:
"He has been so dominant because he has not faced me yet."
Nong-O plans to test Alaverdi Ramazanov's chin early
The Thai striker is riding a four-fight knockout streak into his next title defense—and he plans on putting Ramazanov's chin to the test early in their bout. Nong -O recently told ONE:
“His strength is his speed, quick step in-out and dangerous punch. He is able to maintain his good standard in fighting. In his fight with Capitan [Petchyindee], he had a very good game plan and adjustment to handle the opponent. That’s why he won that fight.”
The reigning champion continued, saying:
“I think Alaverdi would have a full energy in the first and second rounds. But my game plan is to let him eat my clean and heavy shots a few times. And, I'll see how he will react. Then go to the next step of my game plan.”
Nong-O scored a first-round leg kick finish over Liam Harrison in his most recent outing, earning him a $50,000 performance bonus. The champ is in a class of his own when it comes to dominance, as he's looking for his seventh title defense.
