'Babyface Killer' Alaverdi Ramazanov is ready to shock the world when he faces Nong-O Gaiyanghadao. The two are booked to battle for the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world championship at ONE Friday Fights 1 on January 20 hosted at the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Alaverdi Ramazanov has been training hard for this bout and is ready to go the full distance or end it with a knockout. In an interview with ONE Championship, he said:
"I have been preparing for five rounds. My cardio is good enough to keep going for five rounds. Let’s see what happens during the fight. You can never predict how the fight might go."
The 28-year-old athlete previously held the ONE bantamweight kickboxing world title. He is now looking to defeat the reigning bantamweight Muay Thai title holder on January 20.

Alaverdi Ramazanov found his life goals in combat sports
For some, combat sports are a fun hobby. While for others, it can become the backbone that many fighters need to find purpose in life. Russia's 'Babyface Killer' said that he found his life's objective through Muay Thai.
In an interview with ONE, he said:
“My friend brought me to one class and I got hooked immediately – I was at the gym every day. The guys were so respectful of each other, so supportive – it was brilliant... He was great as a coach, but he was much more than that for us – he was our second father. "
Through his coach's lessons, it changed Ramazanov's life. He continued:
He instilled discipline in us, always saying we must be champions inside and outside the ring. Skills and qualities acquired in training helped me in many tough life situations. Sport helped me grow, be proactive, and remain positive.”
