Alex Morono stepped-in at the very last minute to fight Santiago Ponzinibbio at UFC 282 after Robbie Lawler was forced to pull-out of the event due to an injury.
Not only is Morono having to deal with all the obstacles of stepping in at short-notice, he will also have to overcome a size disadvantage in Las Vegas.
The American stands 180 cm tall -- 3 cm smaller than Ponzinibbio. Morono also has a shorter reach (183 cm) than the 'Argentine Dagger', with the 36-year-old having a reach of 185cm.
Another obstacle for both fighters to contend with will be the weight class, with the bout scheduled to be competed under catchweight rules. The fight has a weight limit of 180lbs.

What is Alex Morono's overall professional MMA record?
Alex Morono has an overall professional MMA record of 22 wins, seven losses, and one no-contest. Morono suffered multiple defeats before joining the UFC, with Jeff Rexroad, Rob Wood, and Diego Henrique getting the better of the American.
'The Great White' also suffered a TKO loss against Niko Price at UFC Fight Night 104: Bermudez vs. Korean Zombie. However, the result was later overturned due to Price failing a drug test.
Alex Morono is currently in great form, winning his last four fights in the UFC, and now takes on Santiago Ponzinibbio at UFC 282: Błachowicz vs. Ankalaev this weekend.
However, Morono has struggled to finish his opponents during his ongoing run of wins, he'd be looking to change that against an out-of-form Ponzinibbio.
