Alex Pereira has shared his reaction to Jake Paul's callout following the latter's win against former UFC fighter Mike Perry. It appears that Pereira gave his nod to fight Paul in a potential boxing match.
Paul squared off against Perry in a 10-round cruiserweight boxing match that took place at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida, this past Saturday.
Paul dominated the majority of the bout. He scored a knockdown in the first round and another in the second. Perry had some success, but he couldn't exert enough pressure on Paul because 'The Problem Child' consistently hit the BKFC star with several sharp jabs.
Perry had trouble with the distance, and eventually, in Round 6, the 32-year-old was severely tagged. Paul caught Perry with a combination that sent the latter sprawling to the canvas, resulting in his first knockout loss in nearly five years.

Paul then focused on his next move, which was to face boxing legend Mike Tyson on Nov. 15. Due to Tyson's health issues, the bout that was scheduled for Saturday was postponed. He also expressed his desire to face Pereira in a potential boxing match.
During the in-ring interview with Ariel Helwani, Paul called out the reigning UFC light heavyweight champion, saying:
''Alex Pereira, you say you want to box. I’m the king of this. Come over. We can make it happen. I want you, Alex Pereira. … I just beat a BKFC champion. I’ve beat multiple UFC champions. He said he wants to box. So Alex Pereira, after Mike Tyson, let’s make it happen.”
This provoked a response from Pereira, who face-timed Paul after his callout. The Brazilian resorted to social media to share their conversation. He captioned the post:
''Let’s go !! Chama''
