Alex Pereira has some pointers for serial sports staker Drake. The UFC middleweight champion is set to defend his title against Israel Adesanya at UFC 287 and recently advised the famous Canadian rapper to make sure he bets on the right fighter this time.
For context, the music mogul famously lost a $2 million bet when Pereira knocked out Adesanya in a shocking fifth-round comeback win. The loss certainly didn't do him any favors in regards to the 'Drake curse.'
Drake has been widely meme'd for jinxing the fortunes of athletes he backs after several sportspeople and teams saw negative results after interacting with him publicly.

Alex Pereira vs. Israel Adesanya: Jon Jones predicts the outcome of the rematch between the two rivals
Jon Jones doesn't see the UFC's middleweight title changing hands anytime soon. The legendary mixed martial artist, who recently claimed the No.1 pound-for-pound spot, is of the opinion that Alex Pereira will prevail against Israel Adesanya once again when they meet at UFC 287.
'Poatan' shocked the combat sports community at UFC 281 when he managed to secure a fifth-round TKO victory over the long-reigning champion of the division. Pereira was seemingly en-route to a decision loss heading into the final round of his bout against Adesanya.
However, the Brazilian found 'The Last Stylebender' against the cage and unleashed a barrage of vicious blows, prompting the referee to halt the action as Adesanya was clearly compromised.
It is no secret that Jones and Adesanya aren't on the best of terms and have fired shots at each other over the past few years. It's unsurprising that in a pre-fight UFC 285 media day interview, Jon Jones stated that he doesn't expect a different result in the rematch:
"I believe Pereira's going to win again. There's some athletes that just have other athlete's number. He works hard and I'm rooting for him. I believe he's going to do it again."
