Alexa Grasso recently opened up about the idea of sharing the Noche UFC card with Conor McGregor at The Sphere in September. The reigning UFC women's flyweight champion expressed her eagerness to do so and pointed out that it would be a massive event.

McGregor was booked to face Michael Chandler at UFC 303 this weekend. However, the Irishman was forced to withdraw from the card due to a broken toe, and the fight was scrapped. The event will now be headlined by an Alex Pereira vs. Jiri Prochazka light heavyweight title rematch.

Elsewhere, Grasso is expected to face longtime rival Valentina Shevchenko for the third time at Noche UFC in September. The event will honor Mexican Independence Day and will feature a host of high-profile Mexican fighters.

During an interview outside The Sphere, Grasso was asked about McGregor potentially headlining Noche UFC. As the UFC champion expressed her excitement at the idea, The Sphere hilariously displayed a yellow minion looking surprised. She said:

"Well, imagine that. I would love to share a card with Conor McGregor... It could be huge. I mean, our flags are kind of similar. It would be amazing to share a card with him."

When Conor McGregor called for Nate Diaz trilogy fight at The Sphere in Las Vegas

Earlier this year, Conor McGregor expressed his interest in performing at The Sphere in Las Vegas. The Irishman opined that the one-of-a-kind venue deserved a blockbuster fight and called for a trilogy bout against Nate Diaz.

In an X post, McGregor outlined his fight plans for the year and singled out Mexican Independence Day as his preferred date. MMA reporter Oscar Willis reported that the former two-division champion stated:

"I wish for this [fight] on Mexican Independence Day in the sphere. Chandler, June. Diaz, September. I have let this be known."

McGregor and Diaz have fought twice before. While Diaz won their first encounter at UFC 196 via second-round submission to stop McGregor's win streak in the promotion, the Irishman beat the Stockton slugger in their rematch at UFC 202 via majority decision.

While their relationship has evolved from bitter rivals to cordial adversaries, a trilogy fight between them will undeniably result in fireworks and pull major ticket sales.
