Alexey Balyko knows what he needs to do to steal a victory over MMA veteran John Lineker in their bantamweight Muay Thai clash.
Understanding that his opponent carries ferocious power in his punches, the Russian striker would be very cautious in implementing his game plan throughout their scheduled fight at ONE Fight Night 25 on October 4.
Ahead of this barnburner clash, Balyko shared his opinion on Lineker's strengths in an interview with ONE Championship recently.
There, he mentioned that 'Hands of Stone' will have a taste of his venom and that he will see this one through until he raises his hands in victory.

Alexey Balyko said:
"In the fight with me, he’ll get a taste of the Soviet school of boxing!"
The Tiger Muay Thai representative also added:
"My main focus is not to get too carried away and not make a silly mistake. I will approach this fight with a cool head and fierce determination."
In comparison, Balyko is entering ONE Fight Night 25 with an impressive first-round victory over Ireland's Stefan Korodi last July.
Meanwhile, Lineker also secured a successful Muay Thai debut in the United States last month. He knocked out Asa Ten Pow in the second round and received a $50,000 performance bonus from ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong.
John Lineker studies Alexey Balyko's strengths ahead of ONE Fight Night 25
On the other side, John Lineker has studied Alexey Balyko well, and he provided a detailed breakdown on his opponent's skills ahead of their massive clash on Oct. 4 at ONE Fight Night 25.
Speaking to the promotion in another interview, Lineker shared his thoughts on how this upcoming bantamweight Muay Thai clash will go down:
"My strong point is boxing, and I think his style is very similar to mine. I think what makes the difference is that I'm a guy who moves forward a lot, and he's a guy who moves more, especially to the side and backward."
He also added:
"So, I think that's what differentiates my style from his. I'm a guy who always move forward looking for the knockout and he's a guy who moves a lot in the cage."
ONE Fight Night 25 will be available live in U.S. primetime, free of charge to all Amazon Prime Video subscribers in North America.
