Ali Abdelaziz requests commissions to boycott judge Douglas Crosby after his controversial scoring at UFC 282

Ali Abdelaziz was one of many around the mixed martial arts world who had an issue with the judges at UFC 282.

The mixed martial arts manager had a strong reaction, calling for judge Douglas Crosby to be boycotted.

In a post shared to his Twitter account, Abdelaziz stated:

"I’m going to ask every commission out there not to have Douglas Crosby as judge, and I would like the support of all promotions these guys are ruining peoples' lives and ruining the sport -- enough is enough we have to stand together on this topic @bokamotoESPN @JohnMorgan_MMA"

Crosby was one of three judges to award Paddy Pimblett a controversial unanimous decision victory over Jared Gordon at UFC 282. However, it was not his only controversial ruling of the weekend.

The previous night at Bellator 289, Crosby was involved in another controversy, as he became the first judge in mixed martial arts history to give all five rounds to the fighter that lost the fight.

While it is unclear if Crosby will face any consequences for his controversial scoring, there have been plenty of calls for the judge to be investigated by fighters, fans, and mixed martial artists.

Furthermore, there have also been calls for Crosby to publicly explain his rulings.

Ali Abdelaziz calls for the judges of fight between Paddy Pimblett and Jared Gordon to be arrested

There were plenty of harsh reactions to the official scorecards submitted in the co-main event of UFC 282.

Despite most viewers believing that Jared Gordon won the fight, Paddy Pimblett was awarded a victory by unanimous decision. Mixed martial arts manager Ali Abdelaziz took to Twitter to call for the judges to be arrested following the controversial decision.

Abdelaziz initially expressed his frustration with the decision, stating:

"Come on this is Number #1 Bullshit decision, how did Paddy Pamblet win this fight?? That’s crazy! #ufc282"

He returned with two tweets, noting that the judges should be arrested and are ruining the sport:

"These two judges should be arrested, these guys ruining the sport"

"If anybody thinks Jared Gordon lost this fight, then and the judges should be arrested"

While the judges are unlikely to face any repercussions, Abdelaziz is hardly the only person around the sport that disagrees with their decision.

As for Pimblett, the unranked lightweight stated that he believed the fight wasn't even close in his post-fight interview with Joe Rogan.
