Rasulov is gearing up to challenge Christian Lee for the lightweight crown at the historic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. During his training camp this year, the 32 year-old veteran has taken every measure in the world to instill fear in his rival.

As he told ONE Championship this week, Rasulov is well-equipped to dominate control over the two-division king with an array of techniques and skills that could overwhelm his confidence inside the ring:

"I prefer to wrestle and do it more often, though in my latest fight I wasn't allowed to wrestle, and I had to look for the keys [to win]. So I fought standing. If I'm not allowed to wrestle, I will fight standing."

For most of his fighting career, Alibeg Rasulov has relied heavily on his grappling arsenal to destroy opponents. Like all those who hail from Dagestan, his wrestling-heavy fighting style is difficult to outwit and outmanoeuver once the fight hits the ground.

On Friday, Dec. 6, the world waits in anticipation to see how well Christian Lee fares against an unbeaten world-class wrestler.

ONE Fight Night 26: Lee vs. Rasulov airs live via Prime Video for North American subscribers.

"It's all about the belt" - Alibeg Rasulov says he's motivated to win only to get the prize

Alibeg Rasulov says he is only gunning for the prize and nothing else. The Hyperion Fighters representative has worked hard for far too long to dwell on what his rival has done for the sport of MMA in ONE Championship.

Christian Lee is certainly a wonder of a fighter. He was one of the youngest ONE world champions in promotion history to capture the crown, as well as an unprecedented two-division world champion at the lightweight and welterweight levels.

However, Rasulov admits that he's not looking too deeply into all the hype, since he's focused on just one thing:

"It's not about Christian Lee. It's all about the belt."
