British Muay Thai icon and former ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title challenger 'Hitman' Liam Harrison of the United Kingdom is one of the best fighters of his generation, and the 38-year-old star is proud to count himself among the elite in ONE Championship.
Harrison joined the world's largest martial arts organization in December 2018, introducing himself to a global audience with his fan-friendly, aggressive style of fighting. He quickly became one of the most exciting fighters on the roster.
However, Harrison isn't just great because he's talented. He's great because of his willingness to take on the most dangerous opponents, which he believes is lost on other athletes.
Speaking to Sky Sports MMA Club in a recent interview, Harrison said the reason he loves ONE Championship is because he can fight the world's best.

'Hitman' stated:
"There are a lot of tough fighters [in other organizations] and they all walk away from elite level and they carry on fighting, they just drop a level and they fight people that aren’t as good as them. They’ll keep winning and it’ll keep them relevant. It’ll keep them on social media where everyone will still see them but I buzz off fighting from this promotion because all the elite guys are in it."
Fans won't have to wait long to see Harrison back in action against another legend of equal stature.
