Aung La N Sang wants to bring his absolute best when he steps back inside the Circle on Friday, September 6.
More than a year removed from his impressive submission victory over Fan Rong at ONE Fight Night 10, 'The Burmese Python' will return to martial arts' biggest global stage as the promotion makes its way to The Mile High City—Denver, Colorado—for ONE 168.
The history-making night of fights will feature a slew of current and former ONE world champions, including Aung La N Sang who will attempt to continue his climb back up the middleweight ladder when he meets undefeated Turkish standout Shamil Erdogan.

Determined to bring his A-game, Aung La offered some insight into his training and mindset ahead of their highly anticipated scrap in The Centennial State.
"All my techniques are on point and I want to make sure that everything is geared towards becoming the best opponent for Shamil on September 6," Aung La said in a video on his YouTube channel.
After dropping three out of four—including back-to-back losses to Reinier de Ridder that saw him surrender both the ONE middleweight and light heavyweight MMA world titles—Aung La N Sang is sitting on an impressive three-fight win streak, all finishes.
Bouncing back with a big first-round knockout of Yushin 'Thunder' Okami in November, the Myanmar Superstar returned two months later and bagged another big finish, KO'ing Gilberto Galvao at ONE Fight Night 6. Having since added a submission victory over Fan Rong, 'The Burmese Python' appears primed for another crack at middleweight gold.
So long as he can get past the undefeated Shamil Erdogan, who has not lost a bout in nine career pro MMA fights.
Will Aung La extend his streak to four in a row, or will Erdogan make it 10-0 and take a giant leap toward title contention?
