Allycia Hellen Rodrigues has been away from competition for a long time. However, she is confident that he has put in the hard work and dedication to keep herself on top of her game.

Back in August 2020, the Brazilian shocked the world by dethroning ONE atomweight Muay Thai world champion Stamp Fairtex with a fantastic performance. After the fight, Rodrigues decided to take some time off from the sport for the birth of her first child.

Her comeback was originally scheduled for ONE Fight Night 5 on Prime Video, but that fight fell through at the last minute after her opponent Janet Todd tested positive for COVID-19. With that, it was pushed back until ONE Fight Night 8 on March 24.

During Rodrigues’ absence, Todd was crowned the ONE interim atomweight Muay Thai world champion. The two elite strikers will finally clash this month and unify the belts.

Allycia Hellen Rodrigues has been away from the circle for some time, but ONE Championship fans have no reason to doubt her given her last outing.

The last time the Brazilian competed was in August 2020, when she stepped up to face the then-reigning ONE atomweight Muay Thai world champion Stamp Fairtex.

Stamp had established herself as one of the promotion’s biggest stars after becoming the ONE atomweight kickboxing and Muay Thai world champion during her first year competing under the ONE Championship banner.

Shocking the world with her performance, though, Allycia Hellen Rodrigues dethroned Stamp Fairtex in intense fashion.

Fans still expected Stamp the atomweight Muay Thai strap, but Rodrigues had other plans. She poured it on the Thai superstar in the final two rounds to come away as the victor.

After three closely contested rounds, the fourth seemed to be decisive as the Brazilian upped her pressure and output even further.

ONE Championship posted a video showcasing Rodrigues’ best work:

"ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Champion Allycia Helen Rodrigues is FIERCE 🤯 The Brazilian striker defends her throne against interim queen Janet Todd on March 24 at ONE Fight Night 8 on Prime Video! 👑 @allycia_phuketfightclub"
