Allycia Hellen Rodrigues breaks down how she intends to put pressure on Janet Todd
Allycia Hellen Rodrigues is one of the most athletic Muay Thai fighters of her generation.
Based on her last fight with Stamp Fairtex alone, Rodrigues has demonstrated maturity beyond her years. Inside the ring, she’s self-aware at all times, patient, technical, and precise.
The possibility of ending her fight early against Janet Todd is endless. However, Rodrigues intends to stick to the game plan and focus on what she does best.
Speaking to ONE, she explained:
“My fighting style is very focused on my kicks [and] elbows, and we worked a lot on the clinch. I feel like I’ll be very strong with the knees and elbows in the clinch. If I need to put pressure on her, I will use a lot of clinch with knees and elbows because I also know how to fight like that. This is something I train every day. I think my clinch will be better and stronger.”
