Giga Chikadze recently claimed that Arnold Allen planted spies in his training room before their featherweight matchup at UFC 304. Both fighters are slated to open the main card of the upcoming UFC pay-per-view event, which will take place this Saturday at the Co-op Live arena in Manchester, United Kingdom.

During the buildup to a fight, fighters often use gamesmanship and trash talk to unsettle their opponents. However, 'Ninja' recently alleged in a post on X that Allen resorted to sending spies into his training sessions, likely to study him ahead of their bout:

"You can send as many spies as you want in my training room, but tomorrow night, no one will help you in the octagon! #UFC304 @ufc."

Since his first defeat in the octagon against Calvin Kattar at UFC Vegas 46 in January 2022, 'Ninja' has competed only once. The 35-year-old Georgian is poised to make his comeback after an 11-month hiatus. He was initially scheduled to return last December at UFC 296 but had to withdraw from his clash against Josh Emmett.

In his lone fight of 2023, Chikadze secured a unanimous decision victory over Alex Caceres at UFC Singapore last August and is now eager to build on that momentum.

Giga Chikadze applauds Arnold Allen's past performances, sees victory as path to title shot

During a recent interview with Black Belt Magazine, Giga Chikadze praised Arnold Allen's skills, asserting that 'Almighty' looked impressive despite consecutive decision losses to Max Holloway at UFC Kansas City in April 2023 and Movsar Evloev at UFC 297 this past January. He said:

"He looked great. With Max, he didn’t give his best at the beginning of the rounds, maybe due to respect or Max's height advantage, but he was doing great towards the end. Against Evloev, the judges gave Evloev the win, but in my eyes, Allen won that fight."

'Ninja' added that securing a victory over an opponent like Allen at UFC 304 would move him closer to earning a title shot:

"I believe Allen is a championship-level fighter. He's in the top five, so beating him will take me closer to the title. This is my chance to get into the top five and aim for the title."
