American fighter Asa Ten Pow said he is going to be a willing dance partner who is not shy to engage and go for an explosive finish in his scheduled return to action this week in the United States.
The 34-year-old Florida Kickboxing Academy affiliate is featured in a bantamweight Muay Thai match at ONE 168 in Denver, Colorado, on Sept. 6. He is going up against veteran Brazilian MMA fighter John Lineker, who will make his debut in the 'art of eight limbs' at the event inside Ball Arena in the 'Mile High City'.
In an interview with ONE Championship, Asa Ten Pow shared what fans can expect from him come fight night, saying:
"The fight is going to be at a fast pace and it will definitely be a high-volume fight. You can expect more of the same from me, being present in the fight, determined to win, always looking for the finish, and throwing in those highlight techniques."

At ONE 168, Asa Ten Pow will try to notch his third straight victory in ONE Championship. His latest win came in September last year over Thai Rambolek Chor Ajalaboon by KO in the third round.
He is looking to get the better of Lineker, the former ONE bantamweight MMA world champion, who is dipping his hands Muay Thai for the first time in line with his push to continue challenging himself as a fighter.
ONE 168: Denver will air live and for free in U.S. primetime to North American fans with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription. Tickets for the event are available for purchase on Ticketmaster.
Asa Ten Pow believes he has the edge over John Lineker in Muay Thai
Asa Ten Pow believes that his showdown with John Lineker at ONE 168: Denver on Sept. 6 to be played in his traditional lane of Muay Thai should work to his advantage and lead to a victory.
He shared this in the same interview with ONE Championship, underscoring the contest will be in his wheelhouse and is looking to take full advantage of it.
"Initially, I thought it was actually an MMA fight. I had to read it and re-read it again. And I realized that they were asking for a Muay Thai fight. With it being in Denver, I was ready to be there. It works out for me, keeps me in my wheelhouse, and even helps with the profile, so I'm excited."
Asa Ten Pow opened his ONE journey in October 2022 with a loss. He came back with a vengeance last year with back-to-back victories.
