Alyse Anderson expects Stamp Fairtex to bring her absolute best when they square off on May 5.
Coming off a first-round submission of Asha Roka last May, ‘Lil Savage’ will face the toughest test of her combat sports career when she steps into the Circle with ONE Championship’s first-ever two-sport title holder, Stamp Fairtex. The two women will clash in an atomweight MMA bout as part of the promotion’s long-awaited U.S. debut, ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video.
In an interview with ONE Championship, Alyse Anderson shared thoughts on her match with Stamp and what she expects from the Thai fan favorite when they arrive at the 1stBank Center in Colorado:
“I don’t know Stamp personally, but from what I see, it looks like she trains hard for every fight,” Anderson said. “So I don’t think that she’s underestimating me.”

On paper, the two women are far apart when it comes to experience. Stamp boasts a 9-2 record in MMA with more than 60 wins in Muay Thai while ‘Lil Savage’ is 6-2 in mixed martial arts. Though it should be noted that Anderson went 6-0 as an amateur and is as well-rounded as they come. She will no doubt take the fight to Stamp when the time comes, but when it comes to experience and skill, Stamp clearly has the edge, making this an especially tough outing for Alyse Anderson come May 5.
Stamp Fairtex eyeing ONE world title opportunity with win over Alyse Anderson
If Stamp Fairtex leaves the United States with a win this May, it could put her in line for a ONE world title rematch with reigning atomweight queen Angela Lee. Stamp got her first crack and Lee’s 26 pounds of ONE gold at the promotion’s 10th-anniversary showcase, ONE X.
After nearly scoring a finish in the first round, Angela Lee battled back and managed to retain her title with a rear-naked choke in the closing moments of round two. Since then, Stamp has been chomping at the bit to climb back into the Circle with ‘Unstoppable’.
However, Stamp also recognizes that in order to stand a chance, she will need to develop her BJJ skills:
“I think that BJJ is a very important thing to learn against Angela Lee and I’ve learned a lot of techniques,” Stamp said in an interview with SCMP MMA. “She’s [Angela] a black belt and [I’m] right now a purple belt. So there’s a lot of technique that I need to learn.”
