Alyse Anderson lists teammate Adriano Moraes’ key advantages over Demetrious Johnson

Alyse Anderson believes that her teammate Adriano Moraes holds some distinct advantages over Demetrious Johnson ahead of ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video.

Moraes will challenge Johnson for the ONE flyweight world title at ONE Championship’s first on-site event in the United States on May 5 at 1stBank Center in Colorado.

Ahead of the trilogy match between the two flyweight greats, Anderson sat down with ONE Championship and told the promotion that Moraes is a better grappler than Johnson.

Alyse Anderson said:

“Probably his length and his grappling. I think his endurance, too, because this is five rounds, right? Because it’s for the belt. I think with the elevation, and just like his endurance, he’s going to be able to really push the pace in the later rounds.”

While Anderson’s keeping a close eye on Moraes’ preparation at American Top Team, she’s also training for her match at ONE Fight Night 10.

‘Lil’ Savage’ has the biggest fight of her career lined up when she takes on Thai superstar Stamp Fairtex in an atomweight match. The winner of that contest could be lined up for a potential shot at the ONE interim women’s atomweight world title.

Anderson is coming off a first-round submission finish of Indian fighter Asha Roka at ONE 157 back in May 2022. A win over Stamp could push her to a world title shot in her next appearance in the circle.

Stamp Fairtex, meanwhile, is ranked No.1 in the women’s atomweight rankings and challenged Angela Lee for the ONE women’s atomweight world title at ONE X back in March 2022.
