ONE atomweight star Alyse Anderson is gearing up for the toughest test of her entire career.

The Michigan-born athlete is scheduled to face No. 1 ranked superstar Stamp Fairtex in an atomweight showdown in Denver, Colorado, this May. This will be the first time Anderson will compete in front of a live audience since she started her ONE journey in 2021. Thus, the opportunity to perform for her fans has Anderson jumping for joy.

On Instagram, she expressed her enthusiasm with an image of her recent winning bout with a caption that said:

“May 5th will be the toughest test of my career, on the biggest stage. LFG. 😈 #ONEFightNight10”

MMA fans showered her with love and support, with one person saying:

“Can’t wait @alyseanderson21 .. these are the moments you train for.”

Lil’ Savage Alyse Anderson is one of the rising stars in ONE Championship. The American fighter boasts of an undefeated record of 6-0 in the amateur scene.

Despite losing by decision in her promotional debut, Anderson turned things around with an outstanding come-from-behind victory against India’s ‘Knockout Queen” Asha Roka at ONE 157 last May.

From that fight alone, Anderson proved her durability after being dropped by a right hand. She also showed off some impressive jiu-jitsu skills with a slick triangle choke submission against Roka in the first round.

Stamp Fairtex, on the other hand, needs no introduction. The Thai superstar made her rapid rise to the top after winning the ONE Women’s Atomweight World Grand Prix to earn her shot at the world title against ‘Unstoppable’ Angela Lee. She would ultimately lose to Lee, but it was one of the most thrilling back-and-forth battles of her career.

However, you can’t sleep on Alyse Anderson. She’s going to bring her A-game regardless of who steps in front of her.

Alyse Anderson says move to American Top Team gym was vital to get her first win at ONE

‘Lil’ Savage Alyse Anderson didn’t have the start she wanted for her first fight under the promotion. Despite giving fans an exciting three-round battle, she fell short to Itsuki Hirata by unanimous decision.

The shock from her loss really took root, so she left her gym to join one of the most elite training facilities in the US, American Top Team (ATT).

In a recent interview, Anderson explained how training at ATT helped her achieve her first win under the promotion.

She told SCMP MMA:

“I needed like to just up my competition in training with girls just because guys I feel don’t really get the best look because you don’t know if they’re going too light and stuff. So until you’re like in an exchange with a girl in the cage, you’re not getting like a true test of where you’re at, so I could gaugue where I was at more with consistent training partners that are super high level.”
