The Amado Vargas vs. Sean Garcia round-by-round updates are here. The two men clash in a lightweight bout scheduled for the main card of the Nate Diaz vs. Jorge Masvidal boxing card later this evening. The boxing match is not one between two experienced veterans though.
Instead, the matchup features two prospects, with Vargas being an undefeated pugilist with 10 wins to his name, four of which were stoppages. Meanwhile, Garcia's record is also that of an unbeaten fighter, with seven wins, no losses and one draw, with just one stoppage.
Garcia, as implied by his name, is the younger brother of controversial boxing star Ryan Garcia, who has been embroiled in scandal after scandal as of late. Unfortunately, the younger Garcia brother fights differently from his brother. While both possess sharp left hooks, the younger of the two brother is less powerful.
He doesn't score knockouts like 'KingRy,' but expects to overcome the slightly more experienced Vargas. No championship belts are on the line, only their unbeaten records. Unfortunately, there are no betting odds showing who, between Vargas and Garcia, is the favorite and the underdog in the bout.
