Amanda Nunes recently sent fans into a frenzy with her latest social media post. The former UFC bantamweight champion shared a short video vibing to some music in the gym and tagged Dana White in her post.

For context, Julianna Pena defeated Raquel Pennington via split decision at UFC 307 last weekend and won the bantamweight championship for the second time in her career. In the aftermath, 'The Venezuelan Vixen' expressed a keen interest in facing Nunes in a potential trilogy fight and called her out for a third showdown.

Given the history between the two women, many speculated that Nunes was hinting at coming out of retirement for a third Pena fight via her latest Instagram Story. After @jedigoodman shared the post on X, many flocked to the tweet's comments section to express their thoughts.

Julianna Pena calls out Amanda Nunes for "the biggest fight in women's mixed martial arts history"

After her UFC 307 title win, Julianna Pena called out Amanda Nunes for a trilogy fight and expressed her intentions to settle their beef once and for all. She also claimed their clash would be "the biggest fight in women's mixed martial arts history" if it materialized.

In their first meeting at UFC 269 in December 2021, Pena defeated Nunes via a surprising second-round submission. In their immediate rematch, 'The Lionness' redeemed her loss and reclaimed the bantamweight title via unanimous decision.

During a UFC 307 post-fight presser, Pena addressed a trilogy fight against Nunes and said:

"There’s an air that I feel that she’s missing this sport and trying to find something to make her want to come back... I truly do not believe she’s done. She retired too early. I think that she’s looking for something to do... That, to me, is the biggest fight in women’s mixed martial arts history because we’re 1-1... It would be nice to put it to bed once and for all and get that trilogy fight that she ran away from."
