Alyse Anderson is ready to make a statement when she returns to the circle in Denver. The American star will face Victoria Souza in a pivotal women's atomweight MMA clash at ONE 168: Denver on September 6 at Ball Arena.

Determined to get back in the win column, Anderson said she's ready to put on a show in the same city where she last fought.

"Next Friday I'm going to put on a show at #ONE168 at Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado."

Anderson is hellbent on restarting her march to a shot at the ONE women's atomweight MMA world title after losing to Stamp Fairtex in her last outing at ONE Fight Night 10.

Stamp, who currently holds the ONE women's atomweight MMA world title, stopped Anderson when they faced off in Denver at ONE Championship's first live event on American soil.

Nevertheless, Anderson has been putting in the work in preparation for her showdown against Souza.

'Lil Savage' often trains with former two-time UFC women's strawweight world champion Rose Namajunas in her camp, and she hopes her time with the American star pays dividends against Souza in Denver.

An explosive and aggressive fighter, Anderson last won against Asha Roka when she submitted the Indian star at ONE 157 in Singapore.

Tickets for ONE 168 are available at Ticketmaster.

Victoria Souza doesn't see any weaknesses in Alyse Anderson

While Alyse Anderson is ready to make her mark in Denver, Victoria Souza plans to do the same.

Souza is coming off an impressive submission win over Japanese grappling star Itsuki Hirata at ONE 167, and she plans to achieve a similar result when she takes on Anderson in Denver.

The Brazilian star, however, believes Anderson won't be an easy matchup.

In an interview with ONE Championship, Souza said Anderson is a complete fighter and barely has any holes in her game:

"I have watched [Anderson’s] fights. She is a very fast fighter, especially with her striking. She likes striking, she likes to respond quickly to blows, and she counters a lot. I think what makes her dangerous is her speed. But she has a good wingspan in addition to her speed."
