Stamp Fairtex promises to be back stronger after injury because she has a big target on her back
The reigning ONE atomweight MMA world champion continues to work on her recovery from the leg injury she suffered earlier this year, which spoiled his comeback last June at ONE 167.
In a recent interview with the Fairtex Training Center's YouTube channel, Stamp stated that she needs to put in the work to assure that she will be in prime form once she returns on her duty to fight contenders in the 115-pound weight class:
"I haven't fought for a year. And after surgery, like almost five months already, I feel like I have to get everything back. Because I lost muscle, I lost skills, I lost focus, and I feel like what can I do next? So it's one thing is that I have to build my muscles and focus again and pay attention again when I come back to training because everyone wants my belt."
