"An advantage over his game" - John Lineker says his expertise in the sweet science gives him a trump card vs. Kulabdam

John Lineker reckons he'll have the edge over 'Left Meteorite' Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai when they trade bombs at ONE Fight Night 27.

The Brazilian looks to make it three knockouts in succession against the local hero in their bantamweight Muay Thai clash set for Bangkok's iconic Lumpinee Stadium on Jan. 10.

'Hands of Stone' may not have an extensive background in the discipline as his opposite number. However, that factor doesn't entirely concern him.

Speaking to ONE Championship, John Lineker thinks his boxing will outshine Kulabdam's traditional 'Art of Eight Limbs' approach.

He shared:

"I believe that my boxing, my striking is better, but he is a guy who also likes to exchange a lot of punches. But because of my boxing, I still have an advantage over his game."

Whether or not his knowledge in the sweet science will give him the upper hand inside the 'Mecca of Muay Thai' is still anyone's guess, though.

Kulabdam is known as 'Left Meteorite' for a good reason, and the two-time Lumpinee Stadium Muay Thai world champion be fired up to halt the Lineker hype train this Friday.
