Anatoly Malykhin wants Arjan Bhullar

'Singh' Arjan Bhullar won the ONE heavyweight world title in 2021 and has yet to defend his throne. Anatoly Malykhin, meanwhile, has knocked out everyone in his path to earn interim championship status.

Malykhin is the ONE interim heavyweight world champion and wants a unification bout against heavyweight king Bhullar. Earlier this year, the Russian athlete said in an interview with ONE:

“I do not think it will ever happen. [Bhullar] seems to be running away from me all the time. I won’t be surprised if it happens again. He has not fought any decent opponents of my level in the past. If I have to fight him, I will, but it will be a very quick fight."

Earlier this week, heavyweight world champion Arjan Bhullar spoke to ONE in an interview and called out the interim titleholder. 'Singh' said:

“[The next fight] is going to be either Malykhin – to get his fake title out of there and shut his mouth up – or it’s going to be the winner of Brandon Vera vs. Amir Aliakbari, and I [would] like Amir as well. That’s what makes sense for me. And then I drop down to fight RDR [at light heavyweight] after that. That’s the ideal path for me.”
