Reigning three-division MMA king Anatoly Malykhin isn't concerned with what his first heavyweight title challenger has to say.

On Friday night, November 8, 'Sladkiy' will return to the ring eight months removed from his vicious third-round TKO against Reinier de Ridder to pick up his third crown under the ONE banner.

This time around, the Russian juggernaut is set to defend the ONE heavyweight MMA world title against one of the most well-rounded scrappers in the division — Oumar 'Reug Reug' Kane.

Their highly anticipated scrap with headline ONE's return to Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand for ONE 169.

Speaking with the promotion ahead of fight night, Anatoly Malykhin made it clear that all of Kane's trash talk leading up to their showdown has essentially gone in one ear and out the other.

"He has to say these things, he has to create hype," Malykhin said. "He thinks he can break me mentally. He just doesn’t understand what I’m made of; my willpower is unshakable."

'Reug Reug' looks to end Anatoly Malykhin's unbeaten streak at ONE 169

ONE 169 will be Anatoly Malykhin's first time defending his heavyweight title after trading in his interim belt for undisputed gold via a dominant performance against ex-champion Arjan Bhullar last year.

Meanwhile, 'Reug Reug' earned his opportunity to be the Russian's first challenger with an impressive showing against 17-time BJJ world champion Marcus 'Buchecha' Almeida at ONE Fight Night 13.

The win moved Kane to 6-1 in MMA competition, four of those victories coming by way of knockout.

Will Oumar Kane once again shock the world and claim his first 26 pounds of ONE Championship gold in The Land of Smiles, or will 'Sladkiy' move to 15-0, keeping his gold and his 100 percent finish rate intact in the process?

Fans in the United States and Canada can watch ONE 169: Malykhin vs. ‘Reug Reug’ live on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, November 8 in U.S. primetime.
