Reigning light heavyweight and interim heavyweight world champion Anatoly Malykhin sees Fabricio Andrade claiming the vacant ONE bantamweight world title in his rematch with John Lineker later this week by way of knockout.

'Sladkiy' made the call in an interview with ONE Championship, saying:

“There can be only one end to this fight – a knockout. I think Fabricio will win, and he will finish Lineker before the fourth round.”

Andrade and LIneker will complete unfinished business when they re-engage in the headlining bout of ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video on February 24. The event will take place at the famous Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok.

The two top bantamweight fighters fought to a no contest in their first title clash last October, which came after Lineker was unable to continue midway into the match following an accidental knee in the groin by Andrade.

They are now looking to give their championship mix-up a conclusive ending at ONE Championship’s second Amazon show of the year. Anatoly Malykhin is expecting Lineker-Andrade II to be another barnburner, with the protagonists going all-out.

While keeping tabs on the goings-on in the promotion, Anatoly Malykhin is getting ready for his unification bout against heavyweight king Arjan Bhullar in March.

ONE Fight Night 7 will be aired live and for free to all Prime Video subscribers in North America.

ONE Championship's Anatoly Malykhin pays tribute to Fedor Emelianenko on Instagram

ONE double-world champion Anatoly Malykhin paid tribute to one of his fight heroes, Fedor Emelianenko, who retired earlier this month.

The Last Emperor' Emelianenko called it a career at the age of 46 and after a 20-year run fighting that saw him win it all and become a legend in combat sports. His last fight was against Ryan Bader at Bellator 290 on February 4, where he lost by technical knockout in the opening round.

One of the fighters Emilianenko inspired is Anatoly Malykhin, who has steadily carved a name for himself in ONE Championship by becoming the promotion’s current light heavyweight and interim heavyweight world champion.

'Sladkiy' shared what the Russian legend meant to him in an Instagram message. The caption, when translated, read:

"The legend is gone. God bless him with health. Long years of life. To love his family and appreciate life. And I really want the future generation not to forget him and remember his contribution to mixed martial arts!"

In his illustrious career, Emilianenko compiled a 40-7 record, with 16 of his wins came by way of knockout and 15 by submission.

Anatoly Malykhin, for his part, looks to continue to add to his own legend by becoming the undisputed ONE heavyweight world champion in a unification bout with reigning division king Arjan Bhullar.

Having first fought in ONE two years ago, Malykhin has since won four straight, with his most recent coming over Dutchman Reinier de Ridder in December. With that result, he seized the light heavyweight world title.
